March 8th – International Women’s Day
Today we celebrate the strength, determination and invaluable contribution of women to society!
International Women’s Day has its roots in the movement for equality and better working conditions, which began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1910, activist Clara Zetkin proposed a date to honor women’s struggle, and in 1975, the UN officially declared March 8th as a day of global recognition.
At NVOxpress, we recognize the importance of women who move the world and make a difference every day! We want to honor all the incredible women who are part of our journey.
May this date always be a reminder that equal opportunities and respect must be constant!
