Operational Update – SiMTeM
Following the recent implementation of SiMTeM – the Integrated System for Transport and Goods, technical and operational constraints have been identified that are affecting the normal flow of customs processes and, consequently, the release of goods at national ports.
These constraints are entirely unrelated to the operations of NVOxpress and result from a systemic transition process involving multiple public and private entities within the logistics chain and international trade.
NVOxpress is closely monitoring this situation with the utmost attention and responsibility and is:
In permanent contact with industry associations, operational partners and official entities;
Actively monitoring each affected process on a case-by-case basis;
Reinforcing operational and documentary follow-up in order to minimise delays and negative impacts for our clients;
Communicating transparently whenever there are relevant changes to initially expected timelines.
We reaffirm our commitment to transparency, proximity and the defence of our clients’ interests, ensuring that all possible efforts are being made to mitigate the effects of this adaptation phase to the new system.
